Double Vortex Tube Interaction
This is a continuation of the study of the effects of varying radius, velocity, and distance of two offset orthogonal vortex tubes in a periodic cube using the Burnham-Hallock approximation. (BH)
The Lamb-Oseen vortex is used to initialize the orthogonal tubes. The distance between the two vortex centers is 5, with unequal radial envelopes. The vortex tube along x is given a 50% enlargement (rc=1.5 shown above the y vortex tube).
This study uses (648->1296->2160) points in each direction.
